LYRICS TO SONG by Steve Laws Anderson:
VERSE 1:
I can taste the loneliness
As I sit, alone, waiting for your call
Staring at the faded picture
A distant siren whales in the night
VERSE 2:
As I touch the darkness
Thinking back, when you were mine
I can't erase the memory, of your face,
Looking back at me
PRE-CHORUS:
Oh how, I tried to make you stay
CHORUS:
I, I can taste the loneliness of my heart
VERSE 3:
The city streets below, filled with laughter
While memories of you, flash through my mind
Those long and rainy nights, I held you so tight
