Hard Drive TICKING sound, Hard Drive CLICK noise
Hard Drive TICKING sound, Hard Drive CLICK noise = Hard Drive going bad, in my case WENT BAD/DIED TODAY.
MY HARD DRIVE DIED – don’t have computer now
Today I turned on my computer, went upstairs, came back down… BLACK SCREEN. Turned off my computer, then turned it ON again and watched… I heard my hard drive make a TICKING sound and then power down… the computer said something like… Drive Not Found, or Invalid Disk, Replace Disk. My research on the internet says clearly that the hard drive is DEAD.
I bought a NEW hard drive tonight… It will come in a few days… and then it may take 3 days to 2 weeks to get up and running and on the internet fully again. Right now I can use my music recording computer (an OLD computer) to check emails and do little internet surfing.
Sorry Perla… I can’t come to SecondLife.com because my OLD computer has Windows ME (SecondLife.com software needs Windows XP or VISTA). I will email you Perla… and Post a blog everyone… when my computer is up and running with the NEW hard drive.
I lost my music cd ARTWORK. But I have 1000×1000 images of it at least… but I will have to re-create any images I made from scratch. My harddrive was a Seagate 15,000rpm U320 WIDE 146GB REFURBISHED OEM version that lasted about 5 years I think.
